Government Sheep & Rabbit Farm
Mannavanur is home to a government-run sheep and rabbit breeding centre, established to support the livelihoods of local tribal communities. Hundreds of sheep graze on the rolling grasslands around the lake, creating a scene reminiscent of the Scottish Highlands. The farm is open to visitors, and children especially love feeding the rabbits and watching the lambs.
Pine Forests & Nature Walks
The area around Mannavanur is blanketed in tall pine forests with a soft carpet of fallen needles underfoot. Walking through these forests is incredibly therapeutic — the resinous pine scent, the dappled sunlight, and the absolute silence create a natural sanctuary.
